I loved James’ first two books and so was keen to read this one too. Contrary to the criticism of some professional reviewers, that the author detracts from the story by introducing but not fully resolving his personal - midlife challenges - I liked this aspect. Learning about how true, sustainable, eiderdown is produced was fascinating. No wonder an eiderdown duvet can cost the same as a small new car, but amazing that they can also last for 100 years or more if cared for well. Highly recommend.
