GAME CHANGER - Engaging screenplay especially in the first half ,brilliant performances from S.J.Surya ,RamCharan & Anjali ,intriguing flashback episode & foot tapping music ,contribute in elevating this political drama between bureaucracy & power hungry megalomaniac , to a passable fare ! Too many artistes ,keep meandering the screen ,with little or no significance or relevance ! Shankar tries his best to make a comeback & to strike a chord with the contemporary audience.He however, succeeds only to some extent ! However,it's the climax that fizzles out & let's down ,with just an overdose of violence , bereft of any intelligence! What initially seems like a well played game , finally turns out to be an also played game ! ..M.Sunil My rating : 2.75/5

DEVARA - NTR all the way , swaying the audience with his electrifying performance ,dance & fights ! A 3 year patient wait of NTR fans & Koratala Siva's virtual do or die crisis,after the miserable debacle of Acharya ,raised the expectations of the film to nerve wracking levels! It justifies the anticipation ,with its engaging action drama between the remote villages & their fight for supremacy,their vulnerability to the lure of criminal exploitation! Exciting action episodes ,Anirudh's high decibel musical score , engaging screenplay & visually appealing cinematography ,add value in sustaining the interest of the film! However,the film progresses on a consistent serious tone & action genre , bereft of any comic or romantic interludes ,as such,restricting its appeal only to action drama film lovers ! Jahnavi Kapoor has not much scope & confines to few scenes & a song sequence! Saif Ali Khan & Prakash Raj excel in their roles, with restrained acting ! Koratala Siva can heave a sigh of relief for dishing out a palatable on screen recipe ! M.Sunil

Gunturu Kaaram: Just passable film with all the routine commercial elements of a typical potboiler ! Trivikram's name merely flashing on the screen as the director ,with his flashes of brilliance missing .. Mahesh Babu's mass seems to have overshadowed Trivikram's class .. Nothing special or great ! The film's grand release reminds us that the festival is on the anvil ,with scope for festivity,after watching ,however being nil !

PAKKA PAISA VASOOL with PAKKA BALAYYA BABU MARK MASS ACTION & SENTIMENT DRAMA ! Anil Ravipudi emerges as formidable competitor to Boyapati Srinu ,who has hitherto been the uncrowned king of exploiting & leveraging BALAYYA Babu's histrionics ,with this action packed film ! He deserves appreciation for his deft handling in unfolding the story & sustaining the momentum of the film , notwithstanding the tardy beginning! It calls for courage & conviction! to spearhead & execute an all out commercial film, sans any duets ,item songs . Kudos to the young producer duo ,Sahu & Harish for presenting a bold attempt ,deviating from the regular firmula,with rich production values ! Srileela makes a mark ,with her matured & inspiring performance !

Megastar Chiranjeevi walks away with all the limelight ,proving the adage that age is just a number ,in fact , virtually defying it,with his stylish looks, dance numbers & fight sequences ,while Keerthi Suresh excels in her capacity ,as his loving sister ! References to PK ,do not enthuse much ,as they have already been oft repeated ! Rajni & Chiru r benchmarks of inspiration & spirit indeed,as they r still competing with young actors ! Within commercial limitations ,director Meher Ramesh puts in his best efforts with a balance of comedy, sentiment & action ..The film has it's moments ,however ,the overall theme & drama let us down ,as it's seemingly outdated & concocted .. Music from budding Mahati shows promise .. Expectation is the biggest culprit & if you keep it low ,it's a passable film .. It might do well only in the so-called popularly called B & C centres !

Must watch film if one appreciates serious biopic dramas ,which delineate the euphoric rise to glory & the ironic fall from grace ..It's for someone who is not focussed just on the moving images on the screen , nevertheless, is moved with the feelings & emotions I'm still under its influence & hangover,even after long time since I walked out of the theatre.. Strictly not for the popcorn combo crazy & filmy lazy category of audience !

GODFATHER dials the right number to reach & elicit a positive response from the audiences' ,sure to keep the box office cash registers ,ringing loud ! It lives upto the hype & expectations of Megastar Chiranjeevi's fans with his restrained & yet powerful performance ! He makes a fiery comeback ,after Acharya's setback ,which doesn't set him back ! It's a visual feast to watch him, with Salman Khan's cameo ,adding spice & PrabhuDeva's flash dance gives the dessert like satiating ,finishing touch to the film ! The screen is virtually set on fire ,whenever the two protagonists team ,while fans go berserk with bonfire ! MohanRaja's deft direction ,Thaman's BGM ,Laksmi Bhoopal's dialogues,Nayanatara & Satyadev deserve appreciation ,for elevating this political family drama - M Sunil

LIGER ,starts with a mountain like expectation & passes like an uphill effort to sustain the excitement with action & emotional outburst ...Finally ,it seems to end on a whimper ,without being satiated ,like a meal without a dessert ... It's strictly for the fans, youth ..Family audiences might not relish the crude gesticulations & expletives ! Vijay Deverakonda is the pillar of the film carrying it on his shoulders like Atlas ! Puri Jagannadh is an iconoclastic director ,who doesn't hesitate from breaking the shackles of the prevailing limitations & this film reinforces it ,once again ! Only the most liberal & broadminded will probably welcome the bold attitude asserted by the protagonist..The others can remain shut in closed doors ! M.Sunil
