I was expecting to not like this movie based on other reviews, but honestly I loved it and it was great, had wonderful visuals and scenery and screenplay was amazing for an Angel Studios movie with a relatively low budget. I can’t wait to view the series, and I hope you’ll ignore the more negative reviews and give this movie a shot. There are some cheesy Christian one-liners which is to be expected from a Christian studio, however none of them really took away from the story. Everything came to a good conclusion and I like the idea that the end is really supposed to be a new beginning. We’ll see what the series has in store for us next!

Lousy attempt at making a sequel to one of the greatest animated films of all time. We can’t keep letting Disney get away with corporate greed and laziness. They could’ve made this a great movie with a great story and music, but they decided to rush out a Thanksgiving sequel that felt like its script had been mixed up and stitched together and 6 year olds wrote the music and screenplay. Do not fall for Disney’s trap and affirm this crap by giving it your money. I just watched this movie 10 minutes ago and only remember the 3 or 4 songs they repeated from the original. The new songs were an absolute pain to my ears and the animated sequences to go along with them were incredibly goofy and childish. Of course they didn’t slack on the visual aesthetics which are great, but I feel everything including some of the songs were copy and pasted from the first movie… it’s cool to pay homage, but it feels like the writers hurriedly slapped almost everything from the first movie back together with a slightly different villain who we barely even got to understand. The story was not anywhere close to as powerful as the first movie either. I just feel this was a lousy attempt to satisfy investors and I wish nobody would support this nonsense. Do your research before seeing anymore Disney movies, and don’t satisfy their greed.

Amazing, heartwarming, emotional, beautiful movie. Definitely see it in theaters!
