Marvel please, please stop… just STOP with the “multiverse” meta narrative on every film. It was cute with the animated Spider-Man but now it just feels like an excuse to have no coherent plot, and whoever dies/leaves can now just return in a different version of time/space. With this newest Marvel installment “Antman 3”(??) my eyes started to roll back into my head right after the “Welcome Back Cotter” theme faded, and I woke back up to the sound of Bill Murray’s voice. I never did figure out what was going on and more importantly WHY it was going on in this film. So sad and disappointing. A long departure from those first Iron Man films.
