I’ve read so many Colleen Hoover books, and they’ve all been intense, emotional love stories. But when I started Verity, it completely threw me off, in the best way. I had no idea she could write something so dark, twisted, and absolutely gripping. This book had my jaw on the floor more times than I can count.
