I really want to like this show. It has great animation, an intriguing world, a compelling story, etc. but the protagonist is so pervy and unfathomable. I just started getting into anime and have watched masterpieces like FMAB, Violet Evergarden, Attack on Titan, etc., and was excited to get into more anime, but I realized I can't enjoy anime that has so much fan service. For example, in the first episode, the 34-year-old protagonist reincarnated as a baby is lusting after his mom and the maid, and then later we hear the mom and dad trying for a second baby. It was a failed attempt at being humorous. I want to enjoy the show, but a middle-aged dude in a kid's body groping other women and little girls is disgusting. I just can't take the show seriously with moments like these, and all the sexual assault is unnecessary. Watching all the way through, my takeaway is that this is a fantasy anime for men attracted to children. I can't support an anime that encourages pedophilia and assault. I'm shocked that none of the reviews mentioned this, and some people justify it by saying it makes the main character more "real" or has more room for development. But he doesn't become better, and there's no justification for the way he acts. What were the creators thinking?
