I didn't like it at all. The only two moments I liked were the secret tunnel song and the ocean spirit wrecking the fire nation ships. Everything else was too different. They altered practically everything, condensed scenes into others, the acting was terrible for the most part, the cinematics were basic, and overall extremely underwhelming. Especially the fire bending in the first scene which was supposed to be 100x more powerful than normal, but it was severely average. It honestly felt like the cartoon and the movie had a really mutated baby that looked more like the movie than the show. We missed a lot of amazing episodes because they tried rushing everything, the bending was honestly sub-par as well especially with the earth benders and water benders, the character development was non existent, and the CGI was rushed as well. There was a lot that was essential to the drive and the plot of the original story that was missing in this one, and although they added some stuff that made sense, and was really nice to see added, all in all it felt like watching a fan fiction reimagining of the show through the lens of someone who had merely skimmed through the show, or read the synopsis of each episode, but definitely not created by someone who was a fan and held the show as sacredly as those of us who grew up watching it on cable. This isn't the show we wanted, and it's the exact reason why the movie tanked, it wasn't the story we grew up loving.
