I (almost) binge-watched these 8 episodes. I hesitated before the gun-fight in London, but after that was thoroughly hooked.
Most big budget tv series seem to be more innovative and bold than feature films currently. This was brutal, kind, callous and humane by turns.
I find many British productions far too slowly paced and ponderous, but felt Giri/Haji got it just about right and the acting and production values were of a very high standard.
In short, I loved it, though the rest of my family probably won't.
