The animation is impressive and the set pieces are amazing but most of the cast are the most brain dead idiots I've had the displeasure of watching. It got to the point that i was actively rooting against most of them as they show theyre utter lack if skills and basic incompetence as people. The trope of ‘stupid people trapped on foreign world cause problems for themselves’ has been done poor so many times. Characters get a critical strike on a giant minster and throw their weapon to the side instead of finishing it off. They stand by for what seems like hours while other characters are killed do to their idiocy. And whats worse is they arent punished, as the story twists itself to make most of these brain dead actions, no matter how stupid, end up working in the characters favor
