Right about the time when the four main characters end up the United States, I became angry because I felt that the author messed up, as in, turned an interesting saga into a contrived, maybe-they-will-turn-this into-a movie!!- disappointment. It was NOT believable. I am tired of books like this, where I am exhilarated with what I am reading and learning, but then feel like I have been taken for a ride. I also think that the author is too corny when he does not have to be. We get his points, but when they are self-righteous to a fault, those points can get on one's nerves. I do give the book 4 stars because I appreciate the research that the author undertook to create this book.
