Movie sucked exactly the reason franchises are dying out

Movie was very predictable, nothing new tbh. Nothing more to say just another typical jump scare horror movie

After watching “Get Out” I had high hopes for his second movie “Us”. However, after watching the movie I realized I set my expectations too high to say the least. I would say Jordan Peel tried to make another horror movie with some type of correlation or ties with today’s society in America but fell short trying to come up with something amazing. The movie itself is very unique, has lots of action, and dosn’t take it’s premise too seriously which I did like. And if you get mad at character making stupid decisions, I would definitely reframe from watching the movie as they make the most rediculious survival choices, only making it out alive for the sake of the movie. If I were to describe the movie I would say it is overhyped, irritating, cringe worthy, action packed, un suspenseful, creative, too much, and forgettable.
