Brilliant! Finally got to finish it last night on iPlayer and we've both really enjoyed it. Obviously helped by our love of the city of Liverpool so it was great to spot the filming locations as we worked our way through the series. The Guardian and zero emotion from Sean Bean - well given he popped his clogs on a sunlounger for pretty much most of the series, explains that I guess - or maybe they didn't understand the dialect... Our next trip to Liverpool is definitely involving a little app and seeking out both movies and TV filming locations as we take in the wonderful history and building architecture of the city. Roll on Series 2 It's what the BBC does best - they have a knack for providing us with excellent Drama TV series.
