Incredible movie. There are "easily digestible" sci-fi movies, the ones that appeal to the lowest common denominator, and then there are sci-fi movies like Arrival that really make you think. Beautiful cinematography, creative alien life-forms, and a very sophisticated "thinky" storyline. What a masterpiece. 5 stars.
