I think this show is absolutely outstanding! Every time I watch this show I learn and see life do differently. Episode six brought an absolute visual of how we see people. There was a reference that when Abishola goes outside many see her as a “black” woman. As an individual that has lived in Cape Town South Africa for over a year I know that feeling of being described by my color. But, because so many shared kindness I was able to enjoy the country and it’s culture. I was fortunate to see so many cultures in my military career that I soon learned about who we really are and not what color we are. What should matter is that two people (or lots) can be happy because of what’s inside; because of who we are; and not because of color; and not because of political influence or media. I am older (in late 60s) but I do hope our younger generations will embrace individuals for who they are. I believe this show presents a lot of “food for thought “ as well as humorous way to build any relationship. I hope it continues for several seasons and continues to bring awareness to the many ways we can all share happiness.
