Episode 1 of House of Cards was just about the longest 56 minutes and 38 seconds of my life! Very little color; lots of gray offices and I just can’t stand that type of thing. I truly can’t understand why the general public would spend their time watching the unraveling of corrupt politicians’ lives when you can pull up your news app and find it all right there in real time! For heaven’s sake people, find a hobby! Knit a scarf, or go on a nice mountain hike. Bake scones, perform ventriloquy, make shadow puppets, heck, watch another tv show that suspends the imagination just a BIT further than the misconduct and dysfunction of American politics! Where are the unicorns? Where are the wizards? Where’s the creativity?
