I love watching the show. Dr. Pol is a very knowledgeable man and he does a great job on the animals. He definitely knows a lot. What I will never understand however is, why are all of the Vets, not just him, so disgustingly unsanitary in the clinic! They almost never use gloves. They deliver cats, dogs, goats, drain and squeeze infected wounds etc, all with their ungloved hands. That is so unsanitary. I understand working in the field with the cows, horses, etc but in the office, put gloves on Please! Another thing they do or should I say don’t do, is never, ever send the dogs/cats or whatever the animal, home with cones around their heads. They know the animal is going to start right in on the affected area, yet they send them right out the door without cones! Sad!! Just watched another episode where one of the female Vets, Dr. Sandra, examined a Goat to make sure there wasn’t another Kid inside, of course she wore No Gloves and when she finished the examine and after pulling leftover afterbirth out, she went to their Kitchen Sink, not the bathroom of the Office, and washed her hands! ABSOULUTELY GROSS & DISGUSTING!
