Poorly acted and written. Don't waste your time

This movie ends the Romulan Empire and in essence the future of the fanchise moving into the future. Gene Roddenberry created 3 primary races. The federation represents ideal democracy. The klingons tribal or communist societies. The Romulans represent the empires of Rome and Europe so with them now gone we are left with a boring protaganist free universe as interesting as burnt toast. After 60 years motion pictures in the franchise are dead. The only hope is a Q mistake and reset the jj abrams mess.

As a history teacher and fan of historical films this is the worst history movie in decades. The greatest general of the 19th century is made out to be a murdering thug and every battle is poorly done or historiclly inacurate go watch waterloo its better if u want to see a napoleonic movie.
