I enjoyed this series! The casting was spot on. Charlie Hunnam did an incredible job end to end.
It was interesting to see how Ed Gein influenced others and cinema through the side plots. While it did jump around a bit, i feel it has a unique way of portraying not just what he did, but the legacy of his crimes.
Ed Gein’s crimes were horrendous, disgusting, and shocking. I was expecting to watch a gory house of horrors nightmare series. I mean, I would have loved that, but I can say I wasn’t disappointed. It did have some grossly shocking moments, but overall it’s not what you’d expect. Watch this with an open mind. Enjoy it for what it is, a story about a small town psycho, the F’d up things he did (which are shown), and those he influenced.
Side plots are a little drawn out at times, but let’s be honest, I’m not a film maker.
