The build up of suspense in the beginning was great. I was captivated, sitting on the edge of my seat with confusion, worry, anxiety, disgust and fear. I was ready to be freaked and creeped out by whatever they had to offer. As the movie progressed it became impossible to know how much time had passed. Was it a couple hours, one day or a few weeks? I don't know! But soon the obsession with time was greatly overcome by how unclear the story line would jump without any knowledge of how we got there. At the same time the movie felt rushed. That's quite impressive if you ask me, lol.
Although the writing and storyline was mediocre, the kids in this movie were amazing! Their acting, their facial expressions, their body language was perfection. They weren't underwhelming nor over dramatic. They didn't just read their lines, they lived their lines. 5 stars for the kiddos! They were the only thing that stayed consistant. Those girls are going places.
Another impressive thing, it wasn't obvious at first that it was a B rated movie. The sound, lighting, props, makeup and editing were definitely professional. The thing that gave it away was the writing and the poor acting from some of the adult actors.
I hope, wish and pray Jaime French finds this movie and does a movie review... IYKYK lol
