I must say this isn’t the best movie I’ve seen. I love the message of equality, the different perspectives of the world/how different genders and people are treated etc. and the mothers speech scene. But if you take all that and the amazing attention to detail away.. the story is quite bland. I would highly recommend watching if you need/want to know more about how the REAL world treats us differently. But the story itself, without the Barbie of it all.. is just like any other. I would rate the storyline a 3,5/10, but I would rate the whole Barbie movie a 10/10, because of the message and extreme attention to detail if you know Barbie’s story from when she was founded.
