Great story and it is skillfully unwrapped. The bizarre obsession in casting people from minority groups as many of the main characters, mortally wounds the show. The reality is that same sex couples as a demographic is 5% or less of the population in Anglo countries. A TV shows priority should be to entertain, and to properly entertain, particularly in crime shows, you need to have an element of believably. It was extremely disappointing, almost passive aggressive, that producers are casting characters that if actual demographics were factored in many characters would never be there. Sadly, this greatly diminishes the enjoyment of the show, when you realize just how far from real life the casting is. This turns what could have been a 4 star rating into a 2 star rating. It just does not sit right.
