I really like Seth Rogan and really like the show Platonic, his other Apple show with Rose Byrne. I had really high hopes for this show as I really like the supporting cast actors as well but woof I’m on episode 3 and I don’t even think I can get through it. It’s a completely one note show. Seth becomes studio head and is an insane people pleaser so he refuses to do anything the job requires and instead creates a series of unfunny mishaps as a result. The second episode made me legitimately mad at how bad and cringey it was. Also you know how every episode is going to go. Seth needs to make a hard decision and instead doesn’t because he clearly doesn’t have what it takes to be a studio head. Man this show could’ve been really good but unless I hear more reviews later on that the season turns it around somehow I’m out.
