The most intense movie I’ve seen in years . I consider it a fusion of David Cronenberg, Alfred Hitchcock , Ridley Scott, Stanley Kubrick and Brian DePalma . Fantastic original screenplay not without some humor. Demi Moore gives the performance of the year - unforgettable.!

Like watching the first one at an 11pm showing at an off - the - street , Victorian theatre , I almost peed my pants in suspense . Forget all of the other sequels and pre-quels , this one rocks it . Great late career role for George C Scott . Wow , is He missed !

Huge fan of Helen Reddy’s and I still listen to her records. In particular Long Hard Climb thru Music Music albums . Loved this movie and the acting . Ms. Hervey’s performance was outstanding. It was good to see Evan Peters stretch beyond American Horror Story . I literally hated his Jeffrey Wald . I thought the set designs of the houses in LA were beautifully recreated . Bittersweet and haunting. Pleased to recommend. RIP , Helen. You were my favorite along with Karen Carpenter during the 70’s.

Hollywood junk . Save your evaporating money for gasoline

Liked the first version in the late 70s . Curious to see this retelling.

Conclusion: Better than Cats last year . I think the Cast was wonderful. It would have been more enjoyable to see the exhaustive , technical dance numbers without the camera flying around at all angles . And dancing there is ! So Good to see this artistic expression again . Onward to 2021 .

Best movie I've seen in 2019. Recommend.
