I advise everyone to go see "Elio" (whether you have children to take with you or not), and I recommend it in 3-D. The animation was beautifully done, but the reason I wish to tell others to check it out is because of the story. As I have an occupation working with children in Elio's circumstance (revealed in the movie), it touched my heartstrings, and I felt his pain deeply. Many of the emotions he experiences are familiar to us all, and, as the script's dialog was well-written and delivered effectively, it delivers a powerful impact. I don't want to give spoilers so please do yourself a favor and give this one a view with an open heart and mind.
