I found this film less charming and less funny than the previous two. The previous fims were very much enhanced by being set in London, which made them feel cosy and warmly familiar.
The casts of the first two were outstanding. Most of them weren't in number 3.
This film may appeal less to children because the Brown children are now grown up and therefore not relatable. I'm not sure to whom this film is meant to appeal. It's not very funny, a bit boring in fact. Hugh Bonneville seemed bored throughout too.
It's not as well written, not smart or surprising. No laugh-out-loud moments. The cinema was well attended but really quiet.
It felt like a missed opportunity. Sadly very disappointing.
