Kabuliwala, as directed by Suman Ghosh, is a pivotal landmark in the history of Indian Cinema. Needless to say that the director did justice to the timeless masterpiece of Tagore. Mithun Chakroborty is remarkable in the role of the protagonist, Abir Chatterjee is as best as usual, Sohini Sarkar draws the attention and attraction of the spectators and the little Anumegha in the role of "Mini" is absolutely indefinable. In addition, the luscious vocals add to the further flavours to it. However, there are some digressions in the movie, but those digressions bring dimensions as well. So, my suggestion is that if you have not watched the movie yet, please go and watch it out with your family. "Kabuliwala" teaches us two lessons - the real friendship does not require an age and no religion is superior than humanity.
