The first half was somewhat interesting. An innocent “peasant” girl is deceived and thrown into a dragon’s lair - forced to survive by using her wits. It actually feels like she’s in danger of losing her life while navigating through a near impossible situation. The setting is well done and the dragon’s voice is suitably creepy… …then the second half commenced and every girl boss cliche’ from the past 15 years rolled into one enormous steaming pile of CGI poo that stunk up everything that initially kept me invested.
