This is one of the best films of the year, An absolutely terrific war film, especially during its many pulse pounding action sequences, the usage of the long takes and long lasting wide shots all while being in the perspective of our likable protagonist ensure its intensity and thrill is never lacking, although most of the characters besides our leads are extremely disposable, and at times it can feel a little bit lengthy at 150min, this film from an action/war sequences standpoint, is a technical masterful achievement.

Black Adam can be best described as a dc film you've seen one hundred times, and although the rock's star power and presence is definitely to its benefit, its not enough to boost the rather poor source material, that in the end, leads to a bloated, tiresome, clichéd, excuse of a superhero movie, where the mid credits scene, is actually the movie's highlight.

This is an enjoyable experience, and one of the better installations from marvel in the past few years, although it is very bloated, particularly in its second act, and it is overly long, the terrific stars and the competently directed action scenes are what make this movie endlessly watchable, and who wouldn't respect this movie's endearing effort to tribute the late great Chadwick Boseman.

Although this horror movie definitely has its moments of intensity, and genuinely contains unsettling scenes at times,, its stars do their best to amplify the material also, however, it's overall a very familiar, typical, run of the mil exorcism horror movie, with a very predicable twist and a frankly rushed and lazy screenplay.

This movie is not as bad as people make it out to be, it's the sixth jurassic film it is better than i thought it'd be, it's pretty entertaining and some action sequences are actually great, really well directed, pretty intense and loud, there's a couple of scenes involving the dinosaurs that are call backs to the original that i found really fun, some really enjoyable stuff, and all of the cast is very good, Chris Pratt is a likable lead as always and yes this isn't a great movie, i don't really think it's a good movie either, it has a very predictable final act, a convoluted story and there are characters that are so useless, it can be a chore to indulge them, it's also really long at 147min, this could've easily been a 105min movie, but overall its moderately entertaining for the most part, very impressive action sequences and likable enough main characters to just about hold my interest throughout, at the end of the day it's the sixth one and i actually enjoyed it more than fallen kingdom honestly and it's about on par with jurassic world, doesn't deserve all the unnecessary hate, its not too bad. 2.5/5.

I enjoyed this film quite a bit, it's a great portrayal of elvis and his hardships and glories. Austin Butler is truly Oscar worthy, i thought he was fantastic and not only nailed the characters appearance, but even more so his personality, its directed very well and captures the setting of the time brilliantly, it feels very accurate and realistic, although it definitely started off slow and took a while to really find its footing, it really did pick up and became a very intense experience, but i just felt the first 40min or so were very exposition heavy and bloated, it is a very long film at 160min and at times it worked, other times it didn't, its very difficult to maintain competence in a story for that long and i really think this movie succeeded in what it set out to do, Tom hanks is also pretty good in this film and has a lot more to do than i thought, i would recommend this film as it is a thought provoking but realistic depiction of the one Elvis Presley. 3.5/5

This is one of the best movies of the year, its extremely entertaining, beautifully shot, flawlessly acted, and really well presented. Tom cruise never ceases to amaze, miles teller is the best he has been since Whiplash, its cinematography is oscar worthy, and the thrilling plane sequences are so intense and realistic, that sometimes I felt like i was in the plane! I would highly recommend seeing Top Gun Maverick, i enjoyed the first one that came out in 1986, however this movie is a whole other beast and truly levels above its predecessor, it is a summer blockbuster and i believe it actually benefited from all the postponing during the pandemic, i have seen this film twice in the cinema and I'm looking forward to experiencing it again.

This is a consistently tense, tension filled thrill ride for 97min that i enjoyed throughly, the excellent performances and really well fleshed out characters make us gain an emotional attachment to our protagonist who is very compelling, although i would've liked to see a deeper exploration of their originality in their concept and perhaps a few scenes more of Ethan Hawke and his incredible character, this film does what it needs to do and does it adequately for the most part. 3.5/5.

A very disappointing installment by marvel, and i genuinely couldn't find any redeeming qualities about this movie beyond the incredibly talented cast, and its technical presentation. The script is lifeless, boring and terribly unfunny, the worst part is how meaningless it really is, it barely feels like a movie, Bale seemed to enjoy playing the villain however and funnily enough he was my favourite part of the movie.
