Another excellent book in the Kim Stone series, couldn't put it down. So many twists and turns. Great to have many of the previous characters developed further and new ones introduced.

The characters were portrayed very realistically.

Interesting story about inmates of an Australian prison. The different paths they take to fill the time, learning new skills . Lots of backstop about their families.
An enjoyable read with a fun happy ending.

Very disappointing, Bill Nighy usually plays " standout " roles. Although interesting and kind in this instance, I kept waiting for the movie to really hit its stride.
Almost seemed as though the editing had gone awry as the plot became a little confusing.
Such a shame for a highly successful actor. Other "subplots" were under developed or simply not concluded.
