Genuinely one of the worst “adaptions” I have ever watched. My expectations weren’t high but somehow they managed to absolutely annihilate everything Tolkien gave us. Just because someone doesn’t like it, that doesn’t make you an incel or a racist. I’m all for diverse casting and a strong female lead but if the main character is simply a badly written Mary Sue then of course people aren’t going to like it.
Honestly the only positive thing I have is that it looks pretty. Also calling it now; the made up guy, Halbrand I think it was. He’s the villain
