The story is amazing, but the film really didn’t build. Within the first 5 minutes the boys were already in the cave. There was no character development whatsoever throughout the 2.5 hours. By the end I didn’t know any of the kids names. There wasn’t even a scene of them getting to the rock shelf that they ultimately got stuck on as the water rushed in. Again, it’s an amazing story of heroism and nothing short of a miracle, but the actual film was mediocre at best. 🤷🏼‍♀️
