I watched the first Avatar in 3D at the theatres and have been a huge fan since. Knowing how much Avatar has set the bar for how movies are made over the past 10 plus years, my expectations were set very high for Avatar 2 even before reading about how much effort James Cameron put into it. The media's descriptions pretty much doubled these expectations and yet they were still demolished at least two fold. I watched it in IMAX 3D. The entire time I did not feel like I was watching a movie on a big screen but rather looking through a window into a whole new world. That's how details were put into everything. The plot is equally spectacular. I will not be able look at alligator gar or humpback wales the same way ever again and I cannot wait to see the rest of this series.

I've watched a lot of better B films. This looked like something someone came up with while tripping on a lot of heavy pooh.
