i’m no right wing conservative, i’m no MAGA, i’m not a “dem”, i live in a super liberal city and love it, BUT this book is too much!!! 😵‍💫images of a bare-chested boy, dreaming of crossdressing. why would i say the last bit? because boys become mermen, not mermaids. most ppl would think Julian would be a merman, what made Julian a mermaid? what his hair grew? men have long hair SMH. The concept is confusing. The messaging is creepy, and i would be suspicious of anyone who gave a kid this book. they were reading it on PBSkids! and i implore ppl to go check out the author, and look at some of her other work, there is a link to her site on her Wiki page. i find many of the works on her site VERY distributing.
