Sad, sad book . Was not surprised about Lisa Marie’s sad upbringing. Was not surprised of the horrible job that Priscilla did raising her. She seems like a very selfish person . She did not get the love she so desperately needed from Priscilla . Especially after she lost her dad at such a young age. Was horrible what went on with her mother‘s boyfriend Edwards. He sexually assaulted Lisa Marie and Priscilla did NOTHING! I’m so happy that Riley is the stable, humble and well adjusted woman that she is . Lisa Marie and Danny did a fine job raising her. I’m sorry that her son battled her same demons . I really pray that her twins are going to be ok . The book was a quick read, but I longed for more. I felt it was too short. I was left feeling really bad about the life Lisa Marie lived. I guess she’s at peace now with her dad and her son. 😔
