I’m actually surprised by the lower ratings, I loved it - best movie I’ve seen in a very long time. Josh Hartnett played the part very well. Definitely worth the watch! Especially if you are a fan of Criminal Minds.

My husband and I kinda chuckled our way through this one (not in a good way) but I’ll start with the positives - I appreciate that Frosty/Jack wanted to make the most of his time, a reminder to us all to enjoy life while we’re here. I liked his innocent spirit. I can enjoy the movie for what it is - just a *very simple* Christmas movie that really didn’t make sense at many points but we sat through it anyway because it’s just another feel good, holiday movie. Plus, I liked the cast! The really annoying things were that the snowman knew things right off the bat but then not other things, so that felt off balanced. There wasn’t much of a build up to the love story. It really felt like very little effort was put into the whole story line. It could’ve been a really cute movie, it had potential. Just go into it with low expectations and you’ll probably enjoy it, at least enough to watch once. I wouldn’t say it’s one you’d look forward to every year! Too many holes.

I loved this movie! It was truly a feel good movie and it even made me laugh out loud a few times. The cast was great. It wasn’t your typical Hallmark type of Christmas movie either. I’d watch this one again!

A movie the whole family can enjoy and relate to. My 5.5yo son loved it, my husband even laughed a few times, and I got a little emotional towards the end on the topic of anxiety and growing up. This one is worth the trip to the theatre!

The trailers are misleading. It was not the feel good, fun, family movie it was advertised as. Instead, [SPOILER] I was crying 5 minutes in because the opening scene you realize the mother is dying of cancer. THEN, not even another 5 minutes in after a time jump, you find out the dad is in the hospital and is ALSO possibly dying. This sets the tone for the entire movie. We took our 5 yo son and this was just too heavy of a movie for a young child, and even for me who tries to avoid emotionally triggering movies like this when it comes to death. It also didn’t quite tie together and left us with more questions than answers. The IFs were even depressed because their kids grew up so there was very minimal comedic relief from all of the sadness. All of the happy parts are what’s shown in the trailer and that’s it. This is one I’d avoid going to see in theatres, we regretted it almost immediately.

I was looking forward to this movie and am so disappointed. I watched it a couple times and by the third, fully decided this is terrible. Teaching children to disrespect their parents...? To lie. To sneak out. To be a terrible friend. This could have been such a good coming of age movie but was so poorly done - not animation wise. The Mitchell's Vs the Machines and Luca? Perfectly done. We won't be watching again or recommending this one.
