This is such a huge disappointment. I’m actually shocked at how bad it is. The script is the biggest culprit—boring, inane storylines. Get new writers!!! The dog who lives on the island is more interesting than the guests. I wish I were joking but I’m not. And his acting is better. ;) And that fake black southern accent by the beautiful sidekick—it’s insulting to the audience it’s so bad. And completely unnecessary. And she leaves her husband, children and her grandkids to live on the island??! Good grief. Just painful to think about that. You couldn’t pay me a billion dollars to do that!! I’m not alone in that conviction! Roselyn S is lovely as always. I love her acting but even she can’t resuscitate these DOA scripts. What a letdown. A fraction as good as the original and wonderful Fantasy Island, and that’s being generous.
