Haven’t written a film review in a long time, but I had to for this film. Wow, very impactful! Very original. And just leaves you stunned. Great cast, and great pacing. 2 hours film that honestly flew by. It’s creepy and Emery more than scary, but definitely worth the watch!

I thought this was a powerful drama that more people need to see, particularly young girls. It was alarming to see the many failings of the services that are supposed to be there to protect. It was very distressing to see how hard it is for victims of these sort of crimes to be acknowledged, heard, respected and believed!! I was shocked and appalled by the lack of follow-up or investigation into claims, even with supporting evidence!!!! What disturbed me most, besides the abuse and exploitation, was how the victims were actually treated like perpetrators and made to feel guilty for what had happened TO them!
