Maybe the reason politics are the way they are is because we don't debate normally anymore? We just see what a sliver of what the other side is saying and assume they represent them and get angry? We focus on what makes the other side bad, not why they think the way they do? We also refuse to acknowledge the faults of both sides, only the other? Misinformation has been rampant and both sides want to be correct so much that they both look like idiots and just end up ignorant? 10/10 I can think for myself
