This is one of the most socially derogatory films I have seen; it mocks the leader's journey, belittling individuals who stay true to their authenticity despite what others think. Napoleon knows that he is different from others, but he thinks he is cooler than the rest of the social mainstream followers. This is why he stays true to himself, he knows things that others do not about staying true to yourself. He is brave in his everyday life and the filmmakers themselves misunderstood the very nature of a character like this. They do not hold up or make it seem ok to be different, the tone mocks people like this in a very real way. People like this are the true leaders of society and bring real change and society should uplift not mock what they cannot understand. This film is socially and culturally harmful, what seems clever or genius because of the detail, is actual idiocy. Just another example of filmmakers projecting their unresolved insecurities, misunderstandings, and jealousy onto people who are authentic to themselves, and not followers like these filmmakers were. No wonder people feel mildly uncomfortable watching this film, it is not because it is clever or questioning society, but it is truly derogatory, and this is the harm of not understanding the potential negative impact of one's art upon society. It does so much harm without knowing it. The film tries to portray and tell a story about something the filmmaker does not understand. Whoever made this film was clearly a follower in high school.
