The plot has an interesting narrative that is quite plausible throughout, but not overall, it’s fun

Rigid believes in political systems leads to a distortion of thinking that ignores reality. The geo politics of the times overwhelmed any humanitarian or democratic ideals. The need to form alliances against Hitler were paramount. The persuasion of powerful news media allowed this subversion of morally to move forward unquestioned.
