A great idea for a thought provoking story. Some strong acting performances allowed for an interesting, alluded to subplot between the lawyers. Protagonist's wife also did a great job - her vulnerability and fear really felt uncomfortable for audience members. Nicholas Hoult was good, but not quite great. Great to have supporting roles from top tier actors such as Kiefer Sutherland and JP Simmons. Eastwood was deliberate with these castings: it helped with the way the audience build their perception of the protagonist. Definitely worth watching and would encourage others to do the same.
