I played some of the games years ago but cant remember much of the story . I understand people are saying its not true to the games however if you can put that aside it is a very brilliant show. But watch it in japanese with subs. The dub is particularly bad. Brilliant show tho.

Fantastic Sci-fi show. And I say this as a massive fan of the games.

The last hour is utterly brilliant and sets up an intriguing premise for a sequel set in the modern DC Dark Universe. Sadly they screwed all that up and it will now never happen.

There is something very beautiful and memorable about this adaptation. Although it says Bram Stoker's Dracula on the tin it is in fact James V. Hart's (the screenplay author) addition of the love across time theme that changes everything. He gives the original story a soul that the original sorely lacked, taking a cool monster story and turning it into the most perfect and tragic love story. You can thank Winona Ryder for bringing the script to Coppola. Take this this perfect story, add Coppola's dark and trippy cinematography and (deliberately) old school effects (note all effects were intentionally practical real time composite techniques as would have been in old 50s movies), a haunting musical theme from Kilar, mesmerizing performances from Gary Oldman and a Winona Ryder, stunning costume and set design....and all the other faults of this film, which there are indeed many, fade into oblivion.

Excellent, based, serious, dark, deep, girl with teleportation power, show. Great characters, great soundtrack, well acted, well shot. The teleportation theme forms the backdrop for some great stories. And above all, surprisingly for youtube, a new show that is, mostly, not woke!

This is what film is really all about. Good stories with interesting characters. You dont get so many these days. There is no woke agenda here which is why it didnt get any oscars, no dazzling special effects, no gratuitous sex or violence and my only complaint is that i felt it should have been longer. But that is probably because im used to all the good stories being in long drawn out tv series these days. so after going on this little adventure with these characters and getting to know and like them the ending felt quite abrupt. i wanna know what happens next.... Great film watch it.
