YES YES YES - don’t listen to people saying the Acolyte is not worth watching - PLEASE watch it, you will not regret it! Brilliant story exploring the darker sides of the Jedi order alongside the heart-racing action and colourful universe we’ve come to know and love from Star Wars. While many have chosen to hate on this series for not catering entirely towards the frankly sexist and small-minded men in the fandom, anyone with an ounce of taste will appreciate this new and refreshing take and portrayal of the different sides of the force as well as the hints of romantic tension intertwined within the characteristic seduction towards the dark side. And I haven’t even started on the acting by Amandla Stenberg, Manny Jacinto and Lee Jung-Jae! Honestly my favourite show I’ve watched this year, I haven’t stopped thinking about it since. I need season 2 now - PLEASE!
