I thought it was a good invention of the Misery backstory, and I also appreciated the weirdness of the Marston House and its inhabitants. Granted, they weren't true vampires as with Salem's Lot, but they were something of the kind for sure. I do have to say that I was left a bit confused with the whole "angel" notion and how it can travel through dimensions. I wish there would have been more details on that whole thing. Maybe there will be if there is a third season--which I sure hope happens.
