I think that the movie โThe Maltese Falconโ was a movie that left you confused, yet excited. Whilst watching the movie, I thought that the angles from which the camera was filmed were wonderful. Sometimes they would film the angle from what certain charactersโ point of views may have looked like. The lighting did make me have an eerie and mysterious feeling at times; especially when they found the murderers. In my opinion, there were times where the movie was kind of boring and slow paced, though. I was really intrigued at the time of the climax because the acting of all of the characters was portrayed immaculately.
The character Brigid Oโ Shaghnessy had a misleading, or deceptive personality.
Her character seemed to lead most of the storyline alongside Spade. The movie left you in a sense of suspense at many times, leaving you wondering who murdered these people. There was also a LOT of kissing (ewwww). The director John Huston, however, did a wonderful job in creating the plot for the story with multiple murder mysteries which engrossed the viewer to keep watching. Each of the charactersโ personalities were on point; helping them perfectly unfold the crime. The movie had a wonderful ending as everything was resolved, and they foreshadow our culprit in jail.
