It's a must watch, whether or not you are into anime. I recommend watching it in Japanese with subtitles, the dubbed version of practically any anime is inferior to the original. Trust me. Don't do too much more research on this movie as to avoid spoilers. Let the movie itself unveil it's magic. If you enjoy it (and you will) I can recommend a second viewing as you will notice things about it. I have watched it at least six times and every time I notice a few new very interesting details.
