Saw in on Netflix now. God directing, acting, filming, dialogues... everything. Also makes you think. In a broader perspective it makes you wonder why those who send young people die senselessly in others' wars never pay when things go wrong. Also reading other comments I feel somewhat sad to see that those who were in Vietnam see themselves as heroes. I see them as victims, just like the hundreds of thousands of Russians send now by Putin in Ukraine are victims not heroes. Heroes are those who risk their lives to defend their countries, families, even strangers - and who opt to put their lives at risk for saving other. Being sent to shoot Iraqis, Afghans, Vietnamese etc. just because you are from a country with a more powerful army does not make you a hero. Very moving movie nonetheless.
