I was really looking forward to watching The Accountant 2, especially after how much I loved the first one—The Accountant was a fantastic movie! But after watching the sequel, I couldn’t help but feel a bit disappointed. Did they have a different set of writers this time around? The story felt unfinished, and some scenes honestly seemed unnecessary or out of place. While there was solid chemistry between Ben Affleck and Jon Bernthal (I pretty much love anything Ben is in—he’s always great), the overall flow didn’t quite live up to the original. One thing that really threw me off was the excessive foul language from Jon’s character. It felt like an onslaught of curse words, and I found myself wondering why that part didn’t end up on the editing room floor. It was jarring and didn’t add much to the story. That said, I know a lot of people are giving this 5 stars—and hey, to each their own. But for me, it just didn’t feel like a strong follow-up to the first film. I can’t help but wonder what it would’ve looked like with someone like Michael Bay at the helm. Hmm... oh well. Cheers!

I almost didn’t give this series a chance — it’s definitely a slow burn. But once I hit episode two, I was hooked! The concept is so fresh and intriguing: a business that actually sets up marriages. It’s like arranged marriages, but with a modern twist (especially considering the ex-wife was the one who initiated the whole thing!). This show is a wild ride — intoxicating at times, full of manipulation, past wounds, and those painfully honest conversations we all avoid. At first, I wasn’t sure about Han Jeon-won — honestly, I was like, “What even is this guy’s deal?!” LOL. But as the story unfolded and his dynamic with Noh In-ji grew deeper, I found myself totally invested. She was the calm in his storm, and despite all the chaos surrounding them, they created this beautiful, quiet space just for each other. By the end, I was head over heels for Han Jeon-won — seriously, how could you not be? This series is a poetic, heartfelt exploration of love, heartbreak, and resilience that lingers long after the credits roll.

Just watched the first episode to see if I would like it. It's a little slow, but most slow burn series end up being pretty darn good! We shall see. It reminds me of Bloodline, which was outstanding, and I wished there was another season for that show, but I guess all good things come to an end at some time.

The only part of the movie that made me say, Whoooooooa!!!! The car accident scene! That was some sweet filming, reminded me of Michael Mann and how he films certain shots! Love it! I will watch anything with Jason Bateman, well, mostly anything...some of his movies were like, really Jason, they talked you into that! LOL! I ❤️ Jason. He has some potential for being a villain, go harder! The movie was okay, there were some parts where I'm like dude, c'mon! LOL! Something to watch for the holidays!

Just finished watching apparently, the last episode of season 1, and that is it?!?!?!?! No season 2 on the way????? This is terrible! There was enough left open to have a season 2! Why is every series that I get attached to, is cancelled!!!! It is a good watch, but don't get attached. After the 8th episode, you will need to use your own imagination to what could have been. I understand there is a petition for the 2nd season, but will they listen and do right by us? Ugh!

I absolutely loved it! I just happened to scroll through and picked this movie to watch, not knowing John Litgow was going to even be starring in it! What a surprise - he is excellent! I totally ADORE Ben Affleck! Others may disagree, but he played this to the T! The story line, the childhood, and how dad raised them - serious impact on both lives of the brothers! The movie is 2 hours long, but I wanted to watch more! The movie definitely held my attention and guessing what was going to happen next! You need to watch this! You have to watch this! I'm ready for The Accountant 2!!!!!

I've just started watching this last night in fact, 1/24/2024, I will say, I was taken back by all the cussing, but I guess that's the way to express your feelings now-a-days (younger generation), anyway, it is engaging, so far. I appreciate Taylor Sheridan's talent, so anything he writes, I need to see. Bass Reeves was excellent! 2/2/2024 Update Finished the series. It was good, however, I do have an issue with the writers/director having the great Morgan Freeman, speak with a foul mouth! Morgan Freeman has been in the industry for decades. In my eyes, Mr, Freeman, has paid his dues, been in the trenches, rose above the indifferences and drama that may have tried to stop him from rising. To have Mr. Freeman using foul language and flipping the bird, is beneath. his abilities and intelligence. Not to mention, he was the ONLY person in the situation room with the mouth...why is that? Don't get me wrong, Mr. Freeman, had the luxury of not accepting the role and/or negotiating not to use certain words. A man of statue and age should not have to use verbiage. that is below his elegant distinction. I have a high regard for him as a person, this was a trigger.

I've started watching Masterchef, (currently on Season 10) and at first, I was a little put off at the fact there were so many ppl picked after the auditions, but once I'd started watching and getting to know the contestants, I really enjoy it! I have to say, I definitely miss Graham Elliott. During those elimination competitions, I miss watching Graham running in place when the time is counting down...he was so into it! Hilarious! I'm glad Joe came back, considering I could not stand him in season 1, but I understand where he's coming from and why he is successful. He was told to tone down the attitude, which is good to see, however, the attitude is coming back and it's not surprising...Gordon flat out called him a Snob! Gordon can be tough, but he also shows a coaching, considerate side of the contestants, which I adore, and he can fill out a pair of jeans, My Goodness! LOL! Of course, most of the drama is added for additional attention, all shows are built that way, however, it is still a Great watch and a great opportunity for those that aspire to be in this business.

Michael and Hiliary are supposed to be believable in having an attraction for each other...LOL! Okay. Michael is a few years younger than me, and he looks old. The plot was okay, I just think other actors would have been more believable. Oh well, no Fatal Attraction here!

I am so mad there are only 8 episodes!!!! Grrrrr! I absolutely love Harrison Ford and Helen Mirren as a couple. so believable! Jerome Flynn is playing that role, all too well! I CAN'T STAND HIM AND WANT HIM GONE!!!!! LOL! I'm just a little involved and need the next chapter to happen SOON!
