Though dealing with a serious subject, the movie was done artfully. Uma Thurman was beautiful to look at and she played the character skillfully. The main character, Diana was likable as an adult and a teen, you get invested in her easily. The movie awakens feelings of some kind of joy at living life no matter how short, and a subtle warning not to take for granted. I even got an inspirational quote out of it: "Conscience is the voice of God in the nature and heart of man," so, I personally got my money's worth. I apparently saw this movie before and knew that I had, yet I wanted to see it again, I guess I must have not understood it fully before. I find it to be, not a suspense movie, but a mystery; the suspense lies in wanting to know the ending and ultimate point of the story. Understanding the ending for me was tricky-I said to myself, 'A clever person would have got that,' I myself had to Google it.
