Magnificent. I’ve watched it many times and each time I am amazed by how good a piece of film making it is. The script, the direction, the acting and the editing are all perfect. The best thing about it is that it is both tragically sad and hilariously funny. I have studied films from the 1920s onwards and can’t thank of a better film.
